Finally, EndSeal Black, specially developed for DURA²®, is available to protect the holes and cut ends in your DURA² timber and to maintain the guarantee*!
Thanks to our unique patented process, DURA² timber has a lifespan twice as long as standard treated timber (read more about our double treatment), under condition that the timber is not processed, i.e. you must not saw it or cut any holes in it.
But what if you or your end user like to do their own carpentry? However, sometimes when fencing, it is necessary to cut timber. When cutting occurs the exposed surfaces, holes and cut ends are unfortunately not optimally protected. That’s why DURA² EndSeal is now available.
DURA² EndSeal protects the drill holes and cut surfaces in your wood from water, mould and insect decay as well as UV, ageing and moisture in overhead overground applications.
DURA² EndSeal is easy to apply with a brush. It not only protects the exposed cut surface cut side, the face or the new hole, but also matches the colour of the rest of your DURA² fence.
With EndSeal Black DURA², there is now a solution for the optimum protection of DURA² timber that has been treated after impregnation.
Where can I buy EndSeal Black Dura2?
*DURA² provides a manufacturer’s guarantee of 20 years; the guarantee conditions state that the timber must not have been processed, as any post-processing such as drilling, sawing, boring, planing, sanding, etc. can affect the structure of the wood and therefore the function of the DURA² process.
If the wood treated with DURA² is nevertheless subjected to one or more treatments, the wood must either be treated again with the DURA² process or all treated surfaces must be coated immediately with ENDSEAL BLACK DURA² in order to benefit from the guarantee again.

DURA² EndSeal is a water-based Timber preservative intended for the surface treatment of exposed cut ends and holes when using pressure treated DURA² timber in all applications above ground.
Use brushes and rollers suitable for water-based paint.
Stir well before use.
Thinning is not necessary, though you may want to thin with up to 5% water.
Apply DURA² EndSeal in 2 steps:
1. Make sure the surface is dry and free of dust.
2. Apply DURA² EndSeal using a flat brush or roller. If necessary, a new coat can be applied after a minimum drying time of 2 hours.
To maintain DURA² guarantee, any machined surface (such as saw cuts and holes) in DURA² timber MUST be treated with ENDSEAL BLACK DURA².
Please note: ENDSEAL BLACK DURA² Endseal is not to be used for the treatment of large surfaces or as a replacement for pressure treatment under vacuum. Keep out of the reach of children.
The product is not to be used in case of ground contact. Store cans upright in a cool place and protect from freezing.
Hazardous to bees; Do not use on beehives or near beekeeping equipment. Cover nearby water storage tanks, aquariums, or ponds prior to application.
EUH208 Contains 2,4,7,9-tetramethyldec-5-yne-4,7-diol, 3-iodo-2-propynylbutylcarbamate.
Reaction mass of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol- 3-on and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3- one(3:1).

IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH EYES: Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Remove any contact lenses before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Get medical attention immediately.
